The Immigration Office in Belmopan was broken into this weekend, but staffers say nothing was stolen. It sounds like a strange case, but sometime on Saturday, a thief or thieves jimmied the locks on the metal and wooden doors at the main entrance and just walked in. Still, Director of Immigration and Nationality, Paulino Castellanos, reports that nothing was stolen. Belmopan police have detained two persons.
