In March, eyewitnesses claimed that he was shot by police for no reason, but that claim was of little use to Jeremy Hendrix also known as Deon Williams who was today found guilty of 4 charges. Magistrate Earl Jones today found Hendrix guilty of aggravated assault, a mischievous act, escaping from lawful custody, and resisting arrest. For the assault, he was charged 150 dollars, in default, 2 weeks in jail. For the mischievous act, he was fined 50 dollars, in default 2 weeks in prison. For escaping, he is to pay 75 dollars, in default a month in jail. And for resisting arrest, he was fined 100 dollars, in default a month In jail. In March of this year police shot Hendrix in the leg as he ran from them in the area of Pickstock Street.
