P.M. In Guatemala To Meet Pope

As we noted at the top of our newscast, the Prime Minister is in Guatemala tonight along with the Mayor of Belmopan, Anthony Chanona. This morning, Chanona signed a sister city agreement with the Mayor of Guatemala City, Fritz Garcia Gallont - where the Prime Minister was the witness of honour. But while the PM breezed through that event, he was mainly in Guatemala to participate in welcoming ceremonies for the Pope. He is accompanied by Senator Bishop Dorrick Wright as they attended the papal mass and canonization ceremonies. The Prime Minister is expected to return tomorrow.
