A "Triple A" security guard is at the KHMH nursing a shoulder after he was shot last night.
30-year-old Andre Douce who was on watch at Vin Hong Store on Euphrates Avenue last night received a gunshot to the shoulder after an attempted robbery. Sometime around 8:30 was when the Haitian national had his encounter.
Through one of his friends, the French Creole speaking Douce told us what happened.

(Words of Translator)"He was standing in front of the store and saw a guy in a red shirt patrolling up and down in the rain. He became suspicious and was then surprised when he saw another guy approach him with a gun. He was only expecting one man and didn't see the other."
"He says being a security officer is his job and he thank God he survived. He do however plans to return to work when he recovers. He just plans to be more aware of what's happening next time."
Douce says that the assailants did not wear any masks. He was hit on the right shoulder as he was running for cover from the first shot.
Police are looking for the two culprits.
