It's been de-registered by the National Sports Council and now the Football Federation of Belize is going to fight back in the courts.

The FFB today announced that it has retained the services of Senior Counsel Dean Barrow to seek judicial review of the Sports Council's decision to de-register the FFB. And while the matter is pending, Barrow will also ask for an injunction against the sports council, which will allow the FFB use of the football fields across the country.

As it currently stands, the FFB has even been denied use of all fields, including village fields, to play games. Barrow says he hopes that at least the matter of the injunction will be heard quickly.
