It seemed bold when on Tuesday Superintendent Mario Vernon declared that the two remaining suspects in the Orange Walk bank robbery would be caught shortly.

But the orange walk officer in charge knew what he was talking about as police today reported that they've brought them in. Details of the apprehension are few, but police have in their custody, 37 year old Rafael Campos who is believed to be the ringleader. Police also have Benjamin Orellano who had been injured last week Tuesday while he made his escape after the robbery.

Both men were captured in Orange Walk. Campos is reported to have lived in San Jose village in Orange Walk and there is no known address for Orellano.

Both men were charged in abscencia in Orange Walk's magistrate's court along with five others. The men are accused of pulling off a noontime robbery of the Belize Bank Branch. One of the robbers was gunned down as they tried to make their escape.
