A Jamaican cruise ship employee found last month with more than 12kilos of powder cocaine and $10,000 U.S. in cash is tonight free to set sail again.

Magistrate Harrison Hewlett threw out the case against Sadrea Roin grant because of several missteps by police investigators. Grant's attorney, Oswald Twist pointed out to the court today that arrest warrants were improperly issued, the drugs were not properly labeled and since they weren't labeled police could not verify if they were the drugs seized from Grant. The court seized the US$10,000 but set Grant free.

20-year-old Grant was an employee on a Royal Caribbean Cruise ship which docked in Belize on February 19th. 6kilos of cocaine were found strapped to his legs under his tights during a security check. A further search of his room led to 6 more kilos and the money. Local police from the crime investigations branch were summoned and he was taken into custody.

Prosecutors vow to re-file charges but we doubt Grant will be around since right now there is nothing legally to stop him from leaving the country.
