And as Hernandez had appeared in court to answer to those carnal knowledge charges police took a man to the very same court to answer to charges of burglarizing Hernandez's house.
Derrick Murillo took the very dock that Hernandez had occupied just minutes earlier to answer to charges of burglary. Police say that shortly after Hernandez was taken into custody Murillo broke into the store on East Canal and stole $355. Murillo pleaded not guilty but was remanded into custody until April 29th of 2004.
While at the magistrate's cellblock Murillo asked Hernandez how he could report that his store was burglarized. Hernandez's replay was that he was in police custody and he did not know that his house had been burglarized.
