A 78-year-old resident of San Martin Village in Belmopan is in police custody tonight charged with a pair of revolting sex crimes. Felix Hob is accused of sexually assaulting two little girls who are his neighbors; one of the girls is 5 and the other is 3 years old.
The abuse came to light on one week ago when the five year old came home in distress because her genitals were bleeding. She told her mother that their neighbor, Felix Hob lured her into his house and molested her. When she started crying, her 7-year-old brother came to the rescue. A medical officer confirmed that she had been molested.
Hob was taken into custody this week and is expected to be arraigned tomorrow on charges of indecent assault and unlawful carnal knowledge. But police are now investigating another claim that Hob also molested a 3-year-old girl who is the niece of his 5 year old victim. Police were still investigating this other allegation today and could bring charges for it tomorrow.
