Court Clerk Charged for Attempted Murder

He is the clerk at the Corozal Magistrate's Court but today Darwin Innis was the one being booked when he was arraigned for attempted murder and maim.

The 27 year old was arrested Saturday night after he allegedly pulled out a machete during a misunderstanding between him and Israel Ara at a football game. Police are alleging that during the argument, Innis chopped Ara on his head and body.

Ara is in Chetumal tonight receiving treatment and Innis today appeared in the Corozal Magistrate's Court that he knows all too well to hear the indictable offenses.
