It was her family's worse fear and a CAT scan confirmed that the cruel beating Lorna Wade suffered at the hands of her ex-boyfriend fractured her skull and her brain is swollen.
The domestic abuse survivor is tonight at Clinica Merida in Merida City and about halfway into what we are told is an induced 36 hours of sleep to stabilize her condition. The 34-year-old who was allegedly beaten to near death by her ex-boyfriend Eston Young was flown to Merida by air ambulance last night. Family members tell us that when she arrived Lorna immediately underwent a CAT scan which she couldn't undergo in Belize because she was too heavy for the machines in Belize.
Lorna was allegedly attacked at her Gabourel Lane home by Eston Young on the night of Friday June 4th. She laid in the KHMH until Monday night when the KHMH made a decision to send her home. Lorna's condition then took a turn for the worse and she had to be rushed to Merida for treatment.
