Infant Fatally Knocked Down by Aunt

For the second time in less than a week an infant was run over and killed in a Mennonite community.

Last Friday it was in Shipyard where a father ran over his one-year-old son with a tractor. Tonight the tragedy is west in another Mennonite community of Spanish Lookout where yesterday 20 year old Anita Loewen told police that she accidentally ran over her one year old niece with a pickup truck. The child was rushed to the La Loma Luz Medical Center in Santa Elena where she was pronounced dead on arrival. A post mortem revealed the cause of death as cerebral hemorrhage due to a fractured skull. At newstime police say the dead infant's aunt had not been charged.
