Junior Achievers Honorees

Last night at the Princess, the Youth Department held its Junior Achievement Recognition awards ceremony. In the keynote address, Minister of Youth Hon. Francis Fonseca joined the Prime Minister Hon. Said Musa and the Belize Business Bureau in congratulating schools which have participated in the program. Fonseca said entrepreneurial spirit will be Belize's saving grace.

"Our young people must be exposed to business principles and practices at the earliest stages of their education promoting greater interaction with others and providing them with a stronger appreciation to the effective and efficient use of resources."

The program is being implemented in 8 primary and 5 high schools.
