When Leopold 'Poly' Audinett was killed in broad daylight as he left his home on Plues Street, just over a year ago on Sunday June 8, 2003, his family demanded justice. Well, they won't get it, at least not in this session of the Supreme Court. Raymond Meyers accused of Audinett's murder appeared before Justice John Gonzalez today where prosecutor Carlo Mason withdrew the charge of murder for a lack of evidence. Meyers, described at the time as a family friend, had been on remand for a year.
