JUST IN: Inmate Critical after Stabbing at Prison

There's been a serious stabbing at the Hattieville Prison. Unconfirmed information out of Hattieville is that sometime close to 4:00 p.m. two men were in the remand section when violence erupted. It is not exactly known what happened, but 7NEWS has received reports that Dennis Hyde was stabbed with a 'bora' (Ice pick). Initial reports are that another inmate named Jeffrey Flowers stabbed him but the prison would not confirm that. Up to news time, Dennis Hyde was in the trauma room at the KHMH and we are told doctors are working feverishly to save him.
