Robert Hertular dared to threaten a DEA officer and now he's wanted by the United States; tonight they are one step closer to getting him.

Today Hertular lost his round 2 of his battle to fight extradition when Supreme Court Justice Denys Barrow dismissed his appeal. Hertular through his team of attorneys had appealed Chief Magistrate Herbert Lord's June 4th ruling that he be extradited to the United States to stand trial for among other things drug trafficking and threatening a DEA agent.

After today's ruling, government issued release saying that it will "now take steps to extradite Hertular pursuant to the order of the court." Hertular of course still has the option to go to the court of appeal, and if all else fails the Privy Council. In the meantime, he remains remanded to the Hattieville prison.
