It took a couple of months but justice is catching up with an alleged trigger happy Chinese businessman. 27-year-old Chinese businessman Jie Peng Coa is sitting in jail tonight charged with aggravated assault. Coa was today charged for an incident which occurred on June 6th at the Colors Bar on Newton barracks. Two men Fortunato Noble who had publicly complained on 7NEWS about the police's inefficient action after he made a report against Coa and another man Anthony Velasquez had their reports acted on. The men claim that they asked for a beer at Coa's place of business but were soon asked to leave the men informed Coa they can't drink on the street and that’s when he's alleged to have pulled out his 9 millimeter and threatened to shoot them. Coa pleaded not guilty and was denied bail. His case was adjourned until September 9th.
