A 36-year-old Salvadoran man is in jail tonight after he was caught molesting a 4-year-old girl.
The man is Rolando Ramirez and he was arrested after neighbors reported seeing him fondling a 4 year old girl at a residence on Nurse White Street in Belize City. A medical examination showed that while the child was not raped, there were what a police report describe as obvious abrasions and swelling to her private parts. Rolando Ramirez was charged in court today with aggravated assault and unlawful; carnal knowledge and he was denied bail. And the troubles don't end there for the accused because in that same neighborhood a 9-year-old girl claims Ramirez has been having sex with her for some time. Police are investigation that allegation while Ramirez's case has been adjourned until
September 14th.
