Chinese Woman Charged for Assaulting Police Officer

A Chinese businesswoman was charged in court today for attacking an on-duty police officer.

The woman's name is Feng Pai Hang and police say that yesterday afternoon she assaulted one of their officers. Constable Mike Sabal reported that around 4:30 he responded to a disturbance at the corner of King Street and Amara Avenue where he met a riled up hang. It didn't take long for hang to kick it up a notch and PC Sabal claims she pushed him several times on his chest. Backup was called and hang was subdued and taken to the police station where she was charged for assaulting a police officer. In court she pleaded not guilty to the charge and was released a $1,000. Her case has been adjourned until September 30th.
