It was just a couple days shy of a month and today finally, the Ministry of Local Government is announcing that the water at Yo Chen, Cristo Rey and San Pedro will be turned on. In a release today it was announced that water was turned on in the villages. It goes on to say that there will be a need to reconcile a list of customers with monies paid out to village council chairmen for follow up action. That means that those who've paid in full will receive water while those who've made no payments will be disconnected. The release asks that village councils are expected to work along with the water board to keep the water system running and desist from any action that would deprive villagers from water service.
