Police Arrest Two for Clarissa Falls Robbery

Benque police today charged two men for armed robbery of the Clarissa Falls Resort on the Benque Viejo road. 19-year-old Hector de la Fuente and 27-year-old Jonathan Bahadur were arraigned in court on two counts each of robbery, aggravated burglary, conspiracy to commit robbery, and conspiracy to commit aggravated burglary. The resort's manager told police that around 11 on Friday night she heard a knock on the door and when she answered two men wearing masks appeared. One of them pointed a gun in her face and demanded money. Her assailants then fled with a disclosed amount of cash. Both of the accused are residents of San Ignacio.
