The appeal of quadruple murderers Leslie Pipersburg and Patrick Robateau was today presented before the court of appeals. Attorney Dean Lindo appealed on the grounds that bringing in Ambassador Salvador Figueroa as a key witness was unfortunate and discriminatory and that the trial judge only pointed out some of the inconsistencies during the trial, and not all of them. That's the end of the hearing, but because of the import of the case, the judges will announce their decision when next year's appeal session commences. The two men are convicted of killing Fidel Mai, Kevin Alvarez, Cherry Tucker and of the attempted murder of Karl Ventura during a robbery of the coca cola depot on June 18th of 2002.
