Frenchman kills American

An American resident of Consejo shores in the Corozal district is dead tonight after he was beaten up by a Frenchman. Edward Guck went to the Corozal hospital last night complaining of pain to his mid-section. He had been in a fight with a French man who also lives in the area, and he was injured to his groin area. This morning at 8:00, Guck succumbed to internal injuries, and this afternoon, police went to Consejo looking for the man who is alleged to have killed him. But they found that suspect boarding a boat presumably to flee to Mexico. They intercepted him, and have taken him into custody pending charges for causing Guck's death.
