After nearly two months on the lam, Darrington Luriano is a fugitive no more.

Luriano who is awaiting trial for murder was recaptured by police around 2 this afternoon at a home in the North Creek area of the city. Luriano had been on the run since September 8th when he along with another accused murderer Basil Willis took advantage of an open door at the Queen Street police station and walked out. Shortly after walking out Willis reportedly returned on his own. But Luriano is back in custody tonight and in addition to murder, he will now face charges of escape. The owner of the home he was found at is also in trouble as police they face possible charges of abetment.
