It might be a textbook case of adding insult to injury when, this week in the Supreme Court, a judge fined a stabbing victim for refusing to testify against his assailant.

The reluctant victim is Clifford Matute who was in court to testify against brothers Edward and Lloyd Willoughby. The two brothers from Roaring Creek Village were accused of stabbing Matute on June 30th of 2002 and were both charged with dangerous harm. But on Monday in court Matute refused to testify and the prosecution had to drop their case.

But that wasn't the end for Matute; he was fined $500 by Justice Troadio Gonzalez which he has to pay by November 30th or else he'll be dealt with by the court.
