Free Legal Info Center Opens

Making justice more accessible it's a commitment that was made by former Attorney General Godfrey Smith. Now, two ‘AG’s’ later, a legal information bureau was opened in Belmopan city today. The ‘AG’ as it's called will be a one stop shop for free legal information on arrest and incarceration procedures, employment disputes, land issues, child and sexual abuse, and other issues. LIB will be staffed by trained legal information officers who are not lawyers but who have a background in law. The Legal Information Bureaus are a jointly funded by the United Nations Development Program and government.
