Two Injured in Boating Accident

Two men are in serious condition at the KHMH tonight and another is in police detention after a boating mishap. Sometime around 3:30 33-year-old Amado Watson was traveling off the coast of San Pedro in a tug boat, towing a barge when he ran over another smaller boat that was occupied by two men. The men, 22-year-old Anthony Thomas and 31-year-old Cesario Serano were flung into water and had to be transported to Belize City via helicopter. They were brought in to the KHMH where they are listed in serious condition. Watson, the driver of the tugboat, meanwhile is in police detention pending investigations.
