Yesterday afternoon three men were shot and a third dislocated one of his kneecaps after an ambush style execution attempt in a shack on Queen Charlotte Street in the Yabra area.

Today two men appeared in Magistrate's Court in connection with the incident. 23-year-old Arden Robinson and 18 year old Orin Michael face multiple charges in connection with the shooting. Robinson was charged with three counts of attempted murder, 3 counts of use of deadly means of harm, 2 counts of dangerous harm, 2 counts of grievous harm, and aggravated assault.

Additionally both he and Michael were charged for possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition; specifically a 38 revolver that police believe was used in the fiery ambush. Police found a gun when they searched a residence on Amara Avenue and found a.38 firearm and 5 rounds under a board where the men were standing. Because it is a firearm offence, both men were remanded to the Hattieville Prison.

Investigators believe the Yarborough shooting is related to an earlier shooting on Amara Avenue when 17-year-old Reynold Michael was shot in his right foot.
