Unidentified Man Found Dead in Belmopan Well

Belmopan police are tonight trying to determine the identity and the cause of death of a man who was found inside a well in that city.

At around 9 on Wednesday night police were called out to an abandoned house off George Price Boulevard. A heavy odour in the area led them to look inside a disused well where they found a decomposed male person. He wore a pair of short blue cargo pants, a white t-shirt and a pair of black tennis shoes. Police investigators are going through missing persons reports and asking anyone with information to assist by calling the nearest police station.
