Police have picked up one man for the shooting death of 20-year-old Jason Hill. This morning police detained 18-year-old Leroy Henry and have charged him for murder. Police believe he is the man responsible for chasing down and shooting Jason Hill on Friday night on Sarstoon Street.
Meanwhile police have also picked up two men to be charged with murder in connection with the killing of 27-year-old Sherwin Requena. Edward Lord and Evan Neal were picked up by police pending charges of murder. While another man, Darren Santos was also picked up and will be charged with abetment to commit murder. 6 other men, including a 16-year-old minor, will also be charged with conspiracy to commit murder.
Requena was killed on Sunday night as he stood at the corner of Oleander and Zacaranda Street. At the time two men rode up on bicycles shooting Requena to death and injuring 44-year-old Dona Cayetano who was also in the area.
