Carnival Reveler Charged for Robbery

Sebastian "Sabe" Nunez Jr. today joined his father behind bars for robbery. You may have seen "Sabe" the son in our carnival coverage dancing with the Southside Masqueraders on carnival day. Well fun aside Shanda Dawson claims that Sabe Jr. ripped her Gucci gold chain from around her neck just as the road march was entering the Marion Jones Stadium. Dawson id'd Sabe based on the glitters and tights he was wearing.

31-year-old Sabe Jr. appeared in court today where he was charged with theft. He pleaded not guilty and was denied bail and remanded to the Hattieville Prison until November 3rd. Sabe, the son joins Sabe the father who was remanded on Thursday for burglarizing the family home of Channel 5's anchor Janelle Chanona.
