Independence Day RTA Victim Succumbs

When Charles James was accused of knocking down 33-year-old Mark Bermudez on Indpendence Day, James was served with a notice of intended prosecution. Well today the police followed up on that notice when they charged James with manslaughter by negligence, causing death by careless conduct and driving a motor vehicle without a license. This follows after Bermudez succumbed to his injuries yesterday morning. Family members today told us that Bermudez had been undergoing dialysis treatment and was scheduled to undergo further treatment yesterday but he died. Bermudez was knocked down as he rode his bicycle on Central American Boulevard on Independence Day.
