He's supposed to protect, but police say a BDF soldier was preying on a little girl.
The 32 year old soldier appeared in magistrate's court to answer to charges of sexual molestation of the 6 year old girl. Eric Darius Nunez of San Ignacio appeared in court number 4 today after the girl from Hattieville reported to police that he had sexually molested her.
She claims that on Sunday October second, she was at home at home, when the soldier, who is a friend of the child's mother, went into her bedroom and he began to fondle her. When she told him to stop, he offered her a dollar. According to the child’s report, it was not until the child began to cry that the man stopped. Nunez was today charged with aggravated assault and wounding. He pleaded not guilty and was denied bail and remanded to the Hattieville Prison until November 11th.
