Teen Girls Knocked on the Way to School

And...four female students between 13 and 17 years old are in the KHMH recovering after being knocked down on their way to school this morning. The young women had just gotten off the bus between miles 47 and mile 48 on the Western Highway and were crossing the highway to go to the Banana Bank Road when they were knocked down. 66-year-old Wayne Rhys was driving his Toyota Hilux and hit the young ladies. All four survived and were hospitalized in stable condition. Rhys has been charged for driving without due care and attention and four counts of negligent grievous harm.
