She's the wife of a multi-millionaire, but even Dixie Bowen's diamonds aren't forever. On Saturday, Dixie, the wife of Barry Bowen reported that sometime between September 2 and September 22, while she and her husband were out of the country, they left their San Pedro home in the care of their gardener and the maid but when they got back on September 22, Dixie said she realized that a number of pieces of her jewelry were missing. That includes a Rolex watch valued $20,000; 2 gold chains, valued at $10,500 and 2 ring valued at $15,000.
Police have recovered one of the chains and are checking pawn shops to see if they were placed by the gardener who is a prime suspect.
