A concerned mother this afternoon visited our studios complaining that someone at the Hattieville Prison is trying to kill her son. It's not a complaint that we haven't heard before but, this time the inmate whose life is under threat is a 14 year old boy accused of killing Cleofo "King Kerob" Lambey. Now, his mother says that her son is in super max with the most fearsome criminals.
Prisoner's Mother,
"He told me they wanted to poison him with a cup of lobster flavored noodles and really what happened is that he didn't eat it. He gave it to another boy and they had to rush the young boy to the hospital. He said that one of the wardens kicked him in his back and he slapped him. He says they shocked him up and they put him in Isolar (solitary confinement). He is fourteen years and he is at Boot Camp but whenever he does anything wrong they put him at Super Max with the bigger men, some of who are gay, or they put him in Isolar for a whole week. They don't have any right to put him with those big men. Most of the times when I go there I can't see him because they have him locked up and the case hasn't been tried yet, it hasn't even reached the Supreme Court yet.
Ronald is no angel but he is no fool either. I just want whoever is in charge of the prison to look into this matter and see that it doesn't happen because this is the second time they have tried something like that. The first was in a plate of food. I don't sleep at night because he tells me I don't half of what he goes through and what they are doing to him."
The boy is expected to appear in family court on the 17th of this month.
