Police have caught up with a man accused of raping a young girl twice over four years, and terrorizing her on each occasion. The alleged victim, who is now 16, told police that Miguel Portillo first raped her in 1996 when she was 8 years old. Four years later when she was twelve she alleges he raped her a second time. Both times, he threatened to kill her if she told anyone. The girl finally mustered up the courage to tell her mother who reported it to police. With that they have arrested 47 year old Honduran national Miguel Portillo and charged him with two counts of unlawful carnal knowledge. Police declined to circulate the picture of the alleged sexual predator in the interest of protecting his victim from identification.
