Grown Man Robs His Teenage Cousin

Tonight a 23-year-old stevedore is behind bars after robbing his own cousin. 12-year-old Gilroy Thurton reported to police that his cousin Lloyd Fabers jacked him on Thursday night. He says that at around 10 pm, he was at a Chinese shop on Q@ueen Charlotte Street when Fabers approached him, punched him in the mouth and demanded money. Fearing for his life the 12 year old handed over $4 which his mother had given him to make a purchase at the store. Police picked up Faber on Friday and charged him with robbery. He appeared in Magistrate's Court before Chief Magistrate Herbert Lord today who denied him bail and remanded him until January 17th of next year.
