In 2004, he released "Protect and Serve" a blazing dancehall protest track that burned fire on the police and served up rhymes skewering everyone from G. Michael Reid to ASP Chester Williams. Well today, Bobbo Youth, whose legal name is Theodore Parchue, didn't have enough lyrics to save him from a sentence in jail.

The 24 year old, appeared in court along with 22-year-old Morris Usher, accused of the September 2005 burglary of HL's on Freetown Road. Police claim that at 2:00 on the morning of September 26, they responded to the call of a burglary in progress at HL's, and found Bobbo Youth coming out of the building, while Usher was inside hiding behind a refrigerator. Nothing was stolen from inside.

Neither man had an attorney and while Usher stayed silent, Bobbo defended himself, explaining that he was standing outside minding his own business and police fired a shot above his head, and then pushed him inside the building, planting him at the scene of the crime. Chief Magistrate Herbert Lord didn't buy the story and found them guilty sentencing both men to 7 years in prison for burglary.
