Bradley says he will appeal to the Supreme Court tomorrow for bail. And while McKenzie did not grant bail, she had harsh words for the head of the police's prosecution unit, acting Assistant Superintendent of Police Lindon Flowers. He personally appeared for the arraignment. McKenzie pointed discrepancies in documents presented to her and which the accused officers were served. Those differences include the age of the alleged victim and the actual day the alleged sexual relations occurred. But nothing was more explosive than the revelation that a third police officer is accused of having sex with the girl on 50 occasions and he was not charged. It is a question Flowers was unable to answer in court but tried to explain to us outside the courtroom.
ASP Linden Flowers, Prosecution Branch
"The investigation is ongoing and the police in a decisive investigative process is continuing the investigation and I am expecting to see more persons brought before the court."
Keith Swift,
We know the third guy has allegedly slept with this girl 50 times. Why hasn't he been arrested?
ASP Linden Flowers,
"With those type of investigations, when you talk about numbers, they have to be investigated thoroughly. We are talking over a wide period of time."
While Bradley will appeal to the Supreme Court for bail Magistrate McKenzie remanded the officers to prison until may 10th when she promised she would grant bail. Both Usher and Eligio are squad brothers who have been in the department for the past 3 years.
