Robbery Victim Recants in Court

On March 16th he was accused of trying to jack a gas delivery truck but at the time he claims he was beaten off by an alert sideman. The story changed in court today as Loren Everett appeared in Magistrate's Court to answer to charges of attempted robbery and wounding. The complainant Miguel Mendez opted to drop the charges and Everett was set free. Everett told us that while he admits that there was a misunderstanding between himself and Mendez, he at no time tried to rob Mendez.
