Chinese Businessman Robbed & Shot by Masked Bandits

A Chinese businessman was shot during a robbery early this morning. 43-year-old Hoa Min Huang and his wife were returning to their Queen Charlotte Street home sometime around 1 am when they were ambushed by a gang of armed masked men. The men demanded money and Huang turned over one thousand dollars in cash along with his cell phone. The men then escaped but not before firing a couple shots at Huang. The shots hit him in the right side of his abdomen and the right side of his hip. The robbers sped off in a blue car. Huang is hospitalized at a private hospital and police are looking for the robbers.
