Ten-Year-Old Boy Hangs Himself on a Tree

A ten-year-old boy committed suicide yesterday in Orange Walk Town.

Police report that yesterday around 1 pm 10-year-old Juan Joel Perez was found hanging from a tree in his yard on San Palmar Road. An electrical cord was tied around his neck. The ghastly discovery was made by Perez's sister Gasely Perez.

Investigations continue but police say there were no visible signs of violence on the body however they are awaiting results of a post mortem to wrap up their investigations.
