Miss Honduras is 2006's Reina de la Costa Maya

Miss Honduras 23-year-old Lissa Saenz is the 2206 Reina de la Costa Maya. Saenz was selected last night at the old football field in San Pedro. She beat out 5 other contestants, including Belize's delegate. Our colleague at the San Pedro Sun Kainie Manuel was there and she captured Saenz's winning moments. See Saenz's Crowning moments: [On Demand]. Saenz won the Costa Maya crown, jewelry, and another $500 shopping spree at Wing's in San Pedro. Mexico's Cindy Cajuste placed second. Last night's contest kicked off the Costa Maya weekend which continues tonight and runs through to Sunday.
