This afternoon Irma Wagner called 7NEWS to her home on Dolphin Street where she says the body of a man, who was her tenant, has been in the house since this weekend. She says she called the police from 9 this morning and when she called us at 4 pm, they hadn't responded. She says a dead body in the house poses a heath risk to her and her family.

Irma Wagner,
"I opened the door, he hadn't bought any lock for the door, so I opened the door the usual way and I went in. And when I got in, I peeked through the place, and what I saw wasn't very pleasant, the man was dead. The police responded once. They came with a lady, I don't if she was a nurse or what, but she came and they saw everything and they came our back. I told her I am willing to cooperate with anything. All I need is for the body to come out because they saw the state he is and I don't know what will take place and it is unhealthy. They told me that they were going to fix up the papers. She told me at this state the doctor has to see him, they can't move him unless the doctor saw him. I told her that if doctor doesn't move him, I want the body to come out."

Alfonso Noble,
So you think the police are moving too slowly on this?

Irma Wagner,
"Very very slow and I hate it. I am disgusted because people's health is at risk around here right now, even my health and I am taking care of two children."

Wagner has identified the deceased as Bernard Ramos who has been ailing from an unknown disease for the past year.
