Over the weekend the Caribbean Public Service Association began a one week seminar in which those in attendance which represent 16 Caribbean countries are exploring ways in which there can be poverty alleviation for the participating countries. It's a tall order and today incoming president Armell Thomas told us it all begins with very small steps beginning with seeing how each of the countries relate to each other.

Armell Thomas,
"The theme is social dialogue and the quality of public services and the important elements in the eradication of poverty. Basically today right now as you saw earlier, we have different forums. We have the young workers' forum happening now. We have the women's forum happening right now and we have a men's forum. At the end of the two days, we will have the actual conference. So what we basically do is bring about the experiences that throughout each countries, we try to bring them together and we move forward."

The seminar concludes on Friday.
