12 Years for Convicted Rapist

On Friday, 44-year-old security guard Kent Francis was convicted of aggravated burglary, rape, aggravated assault and threat of death.

Today in court he was sentenced to 12 years, the minimum, for aggravated burglary, plus 10 more years for rape, two more for aggravated assault, and one for threat of death.

That's a total of 25 years, but they are to run concurrently, so he will only serve 12 years.
