He was caught with an unlicensed pistol, and former tourism village security guard Brian Pinto will pay dearly for it. Yesterday morning at 7:00, police raided the 31 year old's home on North Creek Street and found a loaded.22 pistol on the TV stand. He and his girlfriend Tricia Johnson were charged jointly for firearm possession.
Yesterday they both appeared before Magistrate Dorothy Flowers and he pleaded guilty, making it so that the charge against Johnson would be dropped. Small consolation for pinto who was ordered to pay $20,000 in fines for the illegal gun and ammo. He is to pay $300 a month for 5 and a half years, until the fines are settled. If he defaults, he will serve three years in jail for each offence.
Pinto lost his job at the tourism village when he was implicated in a burglary at the village.
