22-year-old Brenton Lewis was shot at around 7:30 last night. Lewis was driving his Mazda car on Princess Margaret Drive near the Esquivel Telecom C enter when a dark colored Rodeo pinned his car against the median. That's when one of the passengers in the Rodeo opened fire on Lewis hitting him to his right upper back. Superintendent Chester Williams says they don't know who the shooter is.

Supt. Chester Williams,
"Sometime around 7:30 pm police received information of a shooting in

front of the St. Thomas/Princess Margaret Drive BTL compound. Upon arrival a black four door car was observed with several holes which appeared to be bullet holes. A subsequent visit to the hospital, one Brenton Lewis was found with a single gunshot wound to the left upper shoulder. He was admitted to the KHMH in a critical but stable condition. So far we have no motive and no suspect in relation to this incident but our investigation continues."

And while Lewis escaped with a single gunshot an hour after that shooting, police were again called to the KHMH where they found 24 year old Derrick Mullings suffering from a gunshot to the left upper shoulder. He was at a yard on Marigold Lane when a gunman approached him and opened fire. Superintendent Williams says Mullings was shot over a woman.

Supt. Chester Williams,
"Police visited the KHMH where one Derrick Mullings was seen suffering from a single gunshot wound to the left upper shoulder. He is so far admitted in the KHMH in a stable condition. Our investigation reveals that sometime around 8:30 pm last night, Mullings and another male person, identified as George Mathews, had a misunderstanding over a female, as a result of which Mathew left and returned later on firing three shots, one of which caught Mullings to the shoulder, causing injuries. At this time we are looking for George Mathews."

Police are now looking for a man identified as George Matthews.
