Police have charged one man and tonight a manhunt is on for the second suspect in Monday evening's murder of fisherman Jose Noe Barrow. 25-year-old Leonardo Ricardo Casanova has been formally charged with murder and police have issued an all points bulletin for 25-year-old Delford Slusher, also a fisherman. The pair is accused of killing Noel Barrow in the Conch Shell Bay Area. CIB Chief Chester Williams says all three were friends and the murder was sparked by an argument. What kind of argument leaves a young man riddled with bullets from two men he called friends? Williams wouldn't say if that argument was over drugs.

Supt. Chester Williams, C.I.B. Commander
"From our investigation the motive is, it was an isolated area, they had an argument and as a result of the argument, the shooting occurred."

Keith Swift,
Were these his friends?

Supt. Chester Williams,
"Yes they are people who hang out together."

Keith Swift,
Are they all fishermen?

Supt. Chester Williams,
"Yes they are."

Keith Swift,
So what was the argument about?

Supt. Chester Williams,
"I will not go into too much details in relation to the argument. It was just an argument that resulted in the shooting death of Mr. Barrow."

Jacqueline Woods, NEWS 5
"Do you believe drugs may be involved?"

Supt. Chester Williams,
"I do not want to go and speculate and say that drugs was involved. It was an argument and the argument evolved into the shooting. We believe from investigation that Delford Slusher is the triggerman. We believe that he is still in Belize City and we believe we might have him by the end of the day."

While last night Superintendent Williams told us that two guns were used in the shooting, he now says the 380 and 9 millimeter shells recovered from the scene could have been fired from the same gun.
